  1. Do you want to have some fun!  Try and create a screen shot of any Windows
  2. screen. It's really easy.  Just follow these directions:
  3.  
  4. 1. Make sure that your printer is off.
  5.  
  6. 2. When you have the screen you wish to capture on your screen, hit the
  7. 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard.
  8.  
  9. 3. Open Windows Paintbrush.
  10.  
  11. 4  Maximize the Paintbrush window.
  12.  
  13. 5. Click on EDIT and then on PASTE.
  14.  
  15. 6. Click on FILE and choose SAVE AS...
  16.  
  17. 7. Click on List types of Files near the bottom of the window.
  18.  
  19. 8. Click on PCX.
  20.  
  21. 9. Type in a file name in the File name box.
  22.  
  23. 10. Hit OK.  This will save the file for later use.  You can open it up again
  24. in Paintbrush, or another art program, and modify it as you wish!

  26. If you want to make a screen shot a smaller file size for mailing:
  27.  
  28. 1. Activate AOL.
  29.  
  30. 2. Click on FILE and then on OPEN.
  31.  
  32. 3. Open The PCX image you saved.
  33.  
  34. 4. Click on FILE and then on  SAVE AS...
  35.  
  36. 5. Click List types of Files.
  37.  
  38. 6. Click GIF.
  39.  
  40. 7. Click OK.

  42. To mail a screen shot:

  44. 1. Activate AOL.
  45.  
  46. 2. Click on MAIL and then on COMPOSE MAIL.
  47.  
  48. 3. Fill in mail form as normal.
  49.  
  50. 4. Click Attach.  
  51.  
  52. 5. Highlight the name of the screen shot file.
  53.  
  54. 6. Hit OK.
